Looks great for your first one! Fun project. How much do you have into the project of you don't mind?

It only takes 15 seconds for the hunt of a lifetime.

I put about 15 hours of time into it. Most of that was body work. Cost total around 120 dollars.

I had most of the stuff I used already at the house. I am always doing art projects of some sort.

I did learn alot and can't wait to do another one. I'm going to wrap this one up tonight. I have a brown trout and a steelhead on order.

Looks cool! I paid to have a replica made of a crappie I caught several years ago. I also won a replica of the world record bass in a raffle. Talk about a head turner

Thanks everyone. I am almost done. I'll probably bring the gold up a little higher on the body. I'm also finishing up the details of the inner mouth.

Started work on a 34" steelhead replica also. This will be of a fish my cousin caught a few years ago. Pretty pumped to do this one for him.

I wasn't a fan of what I called his joker lip. It just didn't look right on the original form. So I reshaped it with bondo to get what I felt was a more anatomically correct lip.

That change to the lip makes a big difference. Looks way better than the original. Man for being your fish replica you did a heck of a job. Very nice
