WHO WE ARE:
Deadhorse Outfitters is a veteran owned and operated outfitter transport business. We provide the best opportunity to hunt and fish in Northern Alaska at a budget friendly price. We lead the way in DIY hunting for Caribou and world class fishing (Arctic Char, Grayling, and Dolly Varden). Our base camp is located in Alaska North of the Brooks Range in unit 26B off of the Echooka River.

WHAT WE OFFER:
• 7 day (DIY) Self-Guided Caribou hunts ($2500 per person) **Non guided fishing included in this package**
• 7 day Guided or Self-Guided fishing trips ($1500 per person)

Dates:
• Fishing trips are from 29 June - 15 September
• Hunting Trips are from 1 August - 15 September
• All flights in must arrive on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday with flights departing the following Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

Our trips include:
• Transportation from the airport in Deadhorse Alaska to the base camp on the Echooka River.
• Transportation via airboat to locations of your choice in the area during your hunt
• Transportation of your animal from pick up point (rivers edge) back to camp and to airport
• Transportation back to airport from camp
*Rental equipment/food* that is included in price
• Tent
• Cot
• 2 Field meals per day
• Cookware

What we cannot do (because we are not hunting guides):
• Cannot give advice on where to hunt
• Cannot escort you into or out of the field
• Cannot point you in any direction for your hunt
• Cannot assist with field dressing of the animal or movement of the animal to the pickup point (rivers edge)

What you provide (not included in price):
• Flight to Deadhorse Alaska
• Out of state hunting license and caribou tag/ out of state fishing license (this can be obtained on-line through Alaska Department of Fish and Game) ** must be purchased prior to arrival to Deadhorse. **
• Sleep system
• Clothes and rain gear (appropriate for the area) (do your research or contact us we can help you with what to bring)
• Weapons/fishing gear
• You can bring 1 cooler on boat to camp (no more than one)

Payment:
• When booking a hunt we require a 50% nonrefundable down payment on the date of booking
• The other 50% must be paid prior to the date of your arrival at the airport in Deadhorse
• There is a 3.5% charge on transactions from Square

My 40th birthday is in 2 years. Already saving and researching for a self guided caribou hunt. Me and 3 buddy's are making the trip together. We may use you guys.

What is the best time of the caribou season to come and what would you say is an average success rate?

Sorry guys been a long time since I have been on any forums. Had alot of grief for posting so I backed away. To answer both questions
Brandon kitchen it would be awsome to get you guys up for your 40th
Hoofdoctor97. Best time is 3rd week of August on we pull out 20 sep. Success rate for us last year was 100% average is 97-100%
