Seriously, thanks Mike. I got a lot out of the questions (and resulting answers) from you back over the last couple of years. Cool to go through that discovery,And yeah, Szwamp.. it was an amazing payoff for all the soakers, briars, sweat, mud, etc. Definitely a high. And I was just extremely fortunate that Dan could provide that support all the way around, including that El Cheapo 10-year-old camera to use. To have that recorded for posterity is a big change as compared to the old days before most of us even considered that.
Really amazing all the way around and I can’t thank everyone here enough. Even though Dan put me in that spot and I’m forever thankful for it, all of the tips and walk-throughs in the Kill Zone, etc., helped guide me through the school of hard knocks. It really started clicking this season and I even picked and scouted a spot at Fort McCoy independently before Dan started walking it. Picking the same spot as the BBSK was a little win in itself, even though that was one of the times I got busted by a doe who blew seemingly an infinite number of times.
