Dan Smoked a big ole Michigan bird

Unread postby Uncle Lou » Sun Apr 24, 2022 3:23 am

Not dan, Dan. My friend who owns the deer camp I go to every year in the NE Lower Peninsula. He shot it this morning on our opener around 6:55 am. He saw them coming and never made a peep. The tom came right into his decoy, as he was sitting in one of his blinds. So it wasn't his expert calling, wasn't even his SMOKE Camo shirt (dang it). Anyway a decent bird, it had a 10" beard, 1 1/4" spurs, he didn't weight, but said it was big.

Hope everyone who made it out enjoyed the opener.
