I do love cold fronts on oak flats. My daughter and I didn't even have time to get snacks out when I looked up and saw a nice buck sauntering into our blind set up on the same oak flat that we always hunt. The 8 point was stuffing his face when she let the Bushmaster eat... and eat it did. 40 yard charge into a brush pile. Not bad for a 23 minute hunt. Even had time to drag him into the green field for sunset pics.
