Little 8 point

This 8 point I shot last night at closing and couldn't find him until this morning. Perfect double lung hit it was just so thick I basically was stepping on him and didn't see him. This buck is a public land dying buck. This is proof of you can't believe what anyone else tells you, just got to want it bad enough you can taste it. People can do what ever they set their minds to and if you want it there's a way.

Good looking buck!

How far from the shot did he end up going? Tracking in the dark in thick areas is usually problematic.
