I kinda thought about doing that but then pulled it all out already. So, container it is. It likes to stick to your hands when shoving in in a bag so I figure I need something easier to pull a little out. I will try the dip can or mint container with a hole. Thanks.

Exactly. Bought a dozen online and made my own labels. Guys loved them for small gifts at work and in our hunting camp. Thought the milkweed was a great idea.

Every time I try this I end up with a whole pocket full.

I don't pick it till its busted open and starting to spread. I gut them into bags and then remove all seeds. Probably a waste of time, but I did it once and am set for years. I see guys picking the pods, but I tried that and it molded. Waiting till they are busted open already gives you a dry, lightweight silky floater EVERY time. 8-)

Haven't found a better option. Buy a bunch, spend a few minutes filling them with milkweed and stick them in pockets of all your hunting clothing. Always right where I need them and never forget it.

I wrap the pods with electrical tape and cut a slit along the pod opening. Most of my pods have a piece of masons line or a piece of string so they have a little lanyard on them too.

I should've probably been saving all my empty ones and selling them as organic coin purses.........

Not trying to hijack the topic but just curious.

I wrap the pod with electrical tape, leave a small gap in the center or on an end to pull it out from.

I was using the icebreakers container but it makes a clicking noise so I went to the coin purse. That's totally silent and has the little chain thingy can connect to back pack or jacket zipper.
Twigs in my hair, don't care.
