For me, without any doubt, the video that shaped or influenced me most for bowhunting was Bowhunting October Whitetails.

Also, my respect for the old Roger Raglin videos has increased. Always thought he was fun to watch but in looking back with a fresh perspective I can now see how great his video production was for the time. He was really able to put together the full package. I've started collecting more of his tapes over the past year and really hope I can scope a copy of The Bowhunter's Bible. Monsters of the Midway and Scrape, Rattle, and Roll are now in my top 10 all-time.

Doesn't get anymore vintage that this. Here's the first bowhunting film ever made, a silent documentary 1922-1923 featuring Art Young (Pope & Young founder.)

I was just going to post this video. One of my all time favorites. That shot he makes on that goat in Mexico was unreal. I think it was around 100 yards running. Whack em and stack em.

Otis "Toad" Smith was nothing short of a National Treasure.
RIP.

No kidding. That guy is cool on the film, but I guess he was a riot in person.
