Looked at the forecast for northeast Wisconsin for the next 10 days.
I wish I had a buck tag!
Cold and a little snow.
Conditions look awesome!

Good luck grinders!

Congrats Grizz!

Caught a couple in the middle of the night that I threw back and one nice keeper. Then we missed 2 this morning. Ended up keeping 8 walleyes, 5 of which were between 15 1/2” and 18 3/4”. :L: and we also had a bonus crappie.

The in laws are going to be here tomorrow, so we’re going to fry a bunch of them up for supper.

Heard something blow pretty close few minutes before lights out. Looks like a tag sandwich for me.

Well at least you gave it one last effort. Doesn’t make the sandwich taste any better though

Thanks guys.

Well… the 2021 season is officially in the books for me. Deer, waterfowl, upland… it’s all closed

It’s crazy how every single year a guy feels like he learned so much more than he did last year. I’ve said that every year since I joined in 2014. And I wholeheartedly believe it to be true.

I’ve got a cam to pull then I’m gonna take a little break from the whitetail woods. Winter plan is to do a bunch of fishing with the kiddos and hopefully break in my new Tikka 25-06 on a coyote.

Easiest hang and hunt of the year. Stepped out my front door and walked 200-300yds into my land lords timber to hopefully get a crav at one of the does bedding in it. If I didn't blow em out unknowingly. Big snow storm today so not hunting this evening.

Last afternoon of the season. Rained quite a bit last night and this morning. Gonna creep around and maybe catch one before he catches me.

Going to head out for a quick low impact scout and pull a few cards here in a minute. It's the last night of the WI holiday doe hunt or I'd be sitting tonight but I'm planning on doing a hang and hunt over a private field tomorrow evening. Hopefully I can get a little more Intel today. Maybe 4 or 5 inches of snow on the ground with another inch or so coming tonight with a high of 9 tomorrow. Hopefully that'll push the bucks out earlier. Good luck to everyone still out
