I was slinging a few at the 3D Target and a doe and two fawns strutted by at 20. Can't shoot em in the neighborhood, but the downside would have been that if I missed, the arrow would have gone right through my neighbors above ground pool. :?

I stuck it out. When I started to clear my lanes that deer started blowing again so it never went far. Nothing came by but a rabbit. When I started to leave that deer started blowing again from the same spot. so I at least learned more about the spot.

Got caught up in honeydos and time got away from me tonight so couldn't go for a drive. Ended up going upstairs to the kids bedroom and scanning the neighboring bean field and CRP(our new acreage is the best location ever). I saw a nice buck there the other night without optics so set up the spotter in the bedroom. Hope be stays on pattern for another week.

Leaving work in an hour. I've got an idea of where I'm gonna hunt, but any big fresh sign on the way in may change my mind.

Good luck to everyone out. I had planned on being out there but I am cleaning because the in-laws are coming tonight. However much to the disdain of my wife and my mother-in-law, I will be in a tree tomorrow instead of at Whistling Straits with them for the Ryder Cup. I like to golf, but spectating in person is worse than watching it on TV in my opinion

Perfect night to chase my #1 but Elli is bugging me to go hunting! :D I seriously considered hanging a stand next to mine in the pine tree and going after him, but I better not.

I’m thinking we’re going to set up on the ground near a big alfalfa field and try for a doe. There was a bunch of deer in that corner last time I observed. We will try and find a hidey hole in a thicket and see if we can coax one into range!

My dad is coming too. I’m going to set him up on an alternate exit for the bedding I hunted Sunday night. Pretty sure there’s a big one in there just across the public line…

Perfect night in hills of western WI. Front just pushed through and rain stopped. Cool and a decent breeze. I think some bucks are going down tonight. Setup on my #1 buck, just an off wind. Got in clean. Hope he’s home

Good luck, out there tonight. Pack a lot of snacks and books, one thing I've been doing with my daughter is let her paly around with an old video camera. She records things and takes pictures with it, keeps her busy for an hour or so longer then she would make it with out it. I even put stealth strips on it so it's not as reflective when she's swinging it around...
