Kansas Draw?

Unread postby thwack16 » Thu May 20, 2021 12:55 pm

Anyone got a clue on timing for the draw?

Got my successful email at 5 pm on Thursday, 5/21 last year. Hoping that equates to tomorrow this year. Ready to start solidifying plans.

Thanks. Last year was my first year applying, so didn’t know if there was a general timing or if it just happened when it happened.

No problem. I've been applying since 2016, and the drawing results have been really consistent around the end of 3rd week in May.

Think it’s right at $550. $100 license. $450 deer tag which is refunded if not drawn.

Thanks! Do they take money out for a point if you don’t draw?

I’d be lying to you if I told you exactly how they refund, but a preference point is $27.50 if you buy it instead of applying. I bet it’s the deer tag cost minus the preference point cost minus a small processing fee that gets refunded to you.

Edit: think I misread your question. Yes you get a point, and are charged for it.
