Re: Compact Treestand setup
Upatreeinwv: Did you hunt out of yours yet ? I got this original LW and restored it too late to use it last season. I had only 2 Beast sticks at the time last season and I used those along with a couple of 4 lb Muddy Stagger steps and the bottom portion of a climber (so no seat, stand all day) so I am totally excited to be able to get out and have a decent setup compared to what I have had in the past. But since i am older and not super strong what i would really be happy with is a stick/stand combo that total only 10 pounds because i sweat like a pig carrying heavy weights, but i guess we'll never see that light of a safe, working combo :)

Re: Compact Treestand setup
I haven't hunted out of the novix but have been hunting out of lone wolfs for 14/15 years now. The lone wolf hand climber is very versatile and its around 14 to 18 pounds depending on which one you get. I just like this hang and hunt stuff too much to carry a climber. Guess the Beast got me. But theres a pile of options out there right now. This is just what I'm going with this year.
