I was out in the yard today working out the kinks getting ready for bow season. Only 3.5 months till the opener!! Can't wait!!

I shoot 70 and 80 quite often not that I would ever shoot a deer at that range, it just makes going back to 30 to 40 like gravy chip shots. Aim small miss small

Wow, good shooting. Gotta have good eyes, I can't see the actual circle at 100 yards. And with my specs I'd prolly have to aim like 6 feet above the target, or more, who knows.

I still need to replace my bow sight that I stepped on last fall. I have the new one laying in the bow case, just need to swap it and sight in.

When I was going out west bow hunting, I had a 60 yard pin and practiced with it, made the 20 yard shots seem like you could make them blindfolded.

Exactly what I think and do over the summer. You go shoot a couple rounds at 70 and than walk up to 20 or 30 yards, you can't miss!

I got 4 inch group with my Ravin R10.at 123 yards. Of course off the bench. Wicked Ridge Black Hunter got the same at 63 yards off the bench.

Hunting season 35 yards is max. But lots of fun to do

About as far as I shoot is 40 yards in back yard. Most of my shooting is about 30 yards an in. Most of my shots hunting have been 20 yards an in.

I view archery and bow hunting as two separate things. A guy can hit an aspirin at 60 yards but an alert doe at 20 all bets are off.

Shooting well at 100 makes you pretty consistent at 50 and I’d say that’s great. Albeit the standard is 20-30 it doesn’t hurt to practice for a follow up shot!

I was able to go out to 80 yards before my vanes wouldn't clear the sight housing. I have an orange dot about four feet up the tree at my 100 yard target that I'm actually aiming at.

Thats a good idea. Ill have to do some tinkering and calculating now haha.
