Craziest tree stand setup
Found this on public during gun season. Not name tags so it's illegal in my state. Probably cost more than a buddy stand. Its right on a walking trail 200 yards from the parking lot. Very close to a no shooting zone and overlooking a church cemetery. Bet he killed allot of bucks outta that.

It never seems to amaze me what people will do to save a buck, but then again like you said they may not have even did that.

With the material, welding time, and herniated disk carrying it in doubt they saved anything.

I can see why they didn't in the good old days, there just wasn't much available, now cheap ladder stands are a dine a dozen. You can tell it's fresh from the lumber on the seat.

Not all people spend their money on the latest and greatest equipment. Plus if you look very hard you will see the conservation number on the stand.

I just don’t understand the gap on the platform….

Your right about the number. I missed that.
As far as latest and greatest I agree just don't see how this could be cheaper than a cheap commercial stand. Certainly harder to move around but if it's what you got use it.
Use what works and I've seen worse this is just an odd one.
I also scratch my head that at least 50 percent of the area that can be viewed frome the stand, you couldn't legally kill a deer on.

He’s probably hunting where some deer are and seems to be happy doing that. Betcha he’s pretty successful.

You said “save a buck”. He probably saved all the bucks cause they wouldn’t go near that thing!!

Nothing beats some tree therapy. Deer sightings or not
