Doubt it will kill all of the carp. Years back they poisoned the entire marsh down into the Rock River to kill them but everything else died and the carp still survived. The last few years they are actually worse than before the poisoning.
It's a shame because at one time back the 70's and 80's the Horicon Marsh and Rock River exiting to Sinnissipi was just awesome for trophy pike and walleye.

I think they may all die. hundreds and hundreds floating down the river. stinks like you wouldn't believe.

Wondering if the ones up stream in the marsh behind the electric barriers are affected. Gonna have to check the main ditch in the Federal this weekend. It's usually packed full of huge carp.

Out in the marsh checking the situation right now. Some carcasses laying on shore along main ditch but still plenty of healthy carp swimming in the water. No smell or any floaters so would have to say they survived yet again!
Plenty of Pelicans out here.
