How many guys on here are really into bowfishing? For me, carp season is similar to deer season, never really ends lol

I like carp killing, but no way would I compare it to deer season... For me carp killing is something fun to do. Deer hunting is a lifestyle.

I tried 3 times last year none of which worked out. The first time was early in the winter and we couldnt get to where we thought the carp would be due to weak ice. The second time the ice was too thick and the bar on my chainsaw wasnt long enough  The third time we couldnt get to where we wanted again but on a different spot so we tried with tip ups and corn but nothing. Ill give it another shot this year though

I watched some commercial fisherman do a carp drive in the ice. They chainsawed across some backwaters dropped some nets down and drove the carp into the nets with snowmobiles. They got truck loads of carp. Wish I would have taken pictures, that was about 30 years ago.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
