Slayed some river slobs this afternoon out of my canoe! Biggest was 36 inches. Shot about 12 times only connected 3 times. The water was pretty cloudy so i would sit and wait for them to flop, then i would charge them with the canoe and shootem driveby style.

My pap used to tell me the only way to eat a carp was to nail it to a board put the board in a fire till charred take it out of the fire throw away the carp and eat the board

Smoke 'em!

It's a greasier meat but smoked carp is good. My uncle buys it at the grocery store all the time.

The ones i got yesterday I buried in my compost pile in my yard. My dad and I have smoked one before. It was not too bad actually. I want to try it again, next time I go i will throw a cooler with ice in the canoe.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
