Love me some Lake Erie bluegill. Caught enough for a couple meals. First couple hours went after bass. Caught some nice smallmouths threw them back.

That's a nice haul!
My lifelong favorite is Lake Erie perch, I can put that away by the pound! They should be hitting out there soon.

We’ve been catching a few nice perch here and there. Nothing consistent. Hopefully get into a mess of those soon

Plan was to take my daughter fishing this morning. Last minute mom didn’t want her to go cause she starts school tomorrow. So it was a solo trip for me. Was just for fun so strictly catch and release. Dumped 20lbs of range cubes on some standing timber next to the creek channel. Waited 20 minutes then it was game on! I don’t know how many I caught. But it was as fast as I could pitch it for over 2 hours. Had to be 100s of them feeding down there. Now that’s fishing! Nothing big, biggest might have went 4lbs. But u can really put a hurt on eating size. Fun trip….

Nice bowfin today. Gave me a great fight with 6lbs test line and a small jig. Some of you guys might call it dogfish, or grinnel down south

Caught a nice bull frog. Ribbit! Slayed some bass after checking some trail cams

New pb, 28lbs. It was a challenge getting him in the boat, fishing solo in my 16ft jon boat. Caught him on a dipsey diver so had a 8ft leader to deal with plus he crossed one of my leadcore lines.

I like them frogs better then crappie! I don’t know what happened in my parts. Up until 7 or 8 years ago I could catch 150+ big bullfrogs in a single night on the first trip of the year. They just vanished. Will see thousands of tiny ones every year but no eaters. I miss em….
