I did almost zero winter scouting this off season. I have ramped things up this summer for pre season and im trying to get lucky early.

Last day of Aug I went to the woods and I was super lucky and filmed 3 bucks feeding in the bottoms midday. They were roughly 50yards away, I was WAY too close! Lol

Had a crazy time glassing a swamp tonight. Had 7 bucks come off an island in the cattails including one that was probably a 140” 10 point! All but one buck had shed velvet. They came off the exact spot I thought they would be bedded based off previous scouting and locating some beds.

I can’t begin to explain what a confidence boost it is to have that happen. If they are in the same pattern next Saturday somethings gettin an arrow flung at it!

I just wish I had a phone skope to take some pictures. I couldn’t for the life of me get my phone to focus through my Binos, then I had to back out quick cause they were getting too close.

PUlled cameras here in NY yesterday... deer are already hard horned! Seems early to me
