aerial photos taken in the winter?
Does anyone know if there is a source for aerial photos that were taken in the spring or winter months? Seems like it would be much more useful than the ones taken in the summer.

Google earth has these photos if you click back in history. Google earth the downloaded version not the app on your phone.

Google Earth Pro on the PC has a timeline feature in the top tool bar.

Have to download GE Pro. It's free. The new standard GE, no longer has many of the old features!!!
Some areas don't have winter photos, but, most have a couple fall ones.

These can be pretty rare, I have never found one for my area.

I haven't found any in the areas I hunt. I think it depends on cloud cover. If your area has more cloud cover in winter then less likely to find satellite pics. Closest I found was Sept and April. I really wanted to try to spot oaks, but nada.

Google Earth sometimes you can find a winter shot with the historical, but it's hit or miss.
State/county level seems to be the best bet. Here is PA's http://maps.psiee.psu.edu/imagerynavigator/ -- I've found similar for other states. Search Aerial GIS Viewer for your state/county of interest.
