Will scouting in or around bedding areas in early summer effect deer movement come fall??

Short answer No. Obviously the closer you get to the season the more damage you can do. But a one time trip to or around bedding mid summer should have zero impact on it.

Perfect thanks I kicked up two good size bucks yesterday scouting. Ended up getting a good video of one trying trying to figure out what I was. It was very exciting overall a great day in the woods. Definitely do not plan on going back till I hunt it!

At the same time i bump alot of bucks out of their beds in season and just setup at a spot where i can get him coming back, as long as they don't wind me they seem to come back. Remember there are alot of things out there that bump them

I would say it depends on when your season starts. For me October 1st is opening day so I would want to be done by August 1st at the latest. That's only 8 weeks to let things cool down before opening day.

I would say just few trips in over summer an out of there by August. August is when all changes start to take place with shorter days and shedding.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

I still scout all the way up to and through the season unless its a place that i know has a nice group of deer or a place that i have been to each year, glassing the areas works really well also if you have the range to do so. how long were you a 3531? We have about 100 of them over here with us now.

I’ll definitely try glassing this year. Good way to get intel on what’s in the area! I did 4 years as a 3531.

If you're scouting on public, I wouldn't worry about bumping bucks too much, especially if you don't think they got your wind. Just a way of life for them, but you still want to be sensitive about it and not over-do it - a little common sense goes a long way. Private land could be a different story depending on the human impact (i.e., busy farmer vs. manicured deer sanctuary), but you should be okay this time of year.
On my deathbed, I will receive total consciousness. So I have that going for me, which is nice!
