New Beast Style Hunter

Unread postby Buckharasser150 » Thu Aug 26, 2021 2:52 pm

16 years old, first year beast style hunting! My second year bow hunting with no bow kill. I’ve been hunting for 6 years now, being raised to sit in stand and wait for deer to come by during rut with the rifle in hand. I have this drive to kill mature bucks, even though I have harvested two bucks and my biggest being 120 inch 10. Last buck harvested 5 years ago, with me messing up on two last year. I love learning these tactics and looking back on big deer and tying them up. I think I am going to slow down my goals on that trophy buck and settle on a nice beast style buck this year. But I still have questions and confusions. If anyone is willing to take time to answer broad - specific questions, please reply and I will send them! Thanks

Welcome to the beast! Good to have a young guy on.

I believe I started dabbling with hunting forums at age 16... I'm 32 now :o

Good luck man! I’m 19 and this will be my first year beast style hunting. Starting at 16 and at that pace you’ll be a Big buck serial killer by 30 :D

Welcome to the BEAST!

Man feel welcome to starting shooting questions out. I assure you the only silly question is an unanswered one!

Many times your questions will also help someone else that may have been curious of the same thing. Sparking conversations on topics you have curiosity about is a win win here

Welcome again

Welcome to Beast!

Fire away with those questions.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Definitely post your thoughts and questions. That’s what makes the forums great. Others can learn while you learn. Plus you might pick up on something that others with years of experience in the deer woods never thought of.

Welcome to the beast.
