Year of the Water Oak

Unread postby Twenty Up » Wed Sep 21, 2022 2:23 pm

Middle Georgia here

Never seen so many Water Oaks (Multiple different counties) absolutely covered up in acorns. White oaks, chestnut oaks, various red oaks etc are all barren or scarce acorn crop. Every Water Oak I’ve seen has been slap full of acorns.

Persimmon seem to have a decent crop as well this year.

Just felt like sharing. Good luck, happy hunting.
