New Area in Southern Indiana Hill Country - Need Aerial Scouting

Unread postby TME_SWIndiana » Wed Nov 13, 2019 4:57 am

I am new to hill country hunting. I have hunted this area for a couple of seasons now and have seen some very nice mature bucks. I am not sure I am hunting it the best. Started researching and discovered there was much more knowledgeable folks out there on hill country hunting (and loved Dan Infalt and The Hunting Public) Any observations and suggestions that could be given would be greatly appreciated. Possible saddles to investigate? Best educated guesses on points for bedding? Just testing out the "Scouting" features of this site. Thanks in advance.

Your link goes to a map of your spot but anyone can zoom out & see exactly where you are hunting. I would get rid of that link & post a picture so no one knows where it's at.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Do you have the hill country dvd? IMO watching that and walking are the best way to get the intel you need. In hunting season...trial and error. What you learn through that process, I’ve found to be invaluable.

I dont have those DVDs. I did see them advertised and was very intrigued.

I'll try pics instead of a link. Couldn't imagine taking another person's spot but sadly it happenens far too often. Probably not wise of me to post the link the way I did.
