Bighunt said MN was like a Zoo compared to Zone C Wisconsin. And Conroy said,. "yeah it was nice to actually see some bears".

Not surprising. Huge difference just going from Central WI to NW Wisconsin.

They were comparing NorthEast MN to West central WI.

They were comparing NorthEast MN to West central WI.

I understand that John. Just saying the bear population rises dramatically as you go north so not surprising at all they see a lot more bear and other animals up there in MN than Central WI

Bear population rises dramatically, and there also not a bait behind every other tree like in zone c

Hope the shoulder is ok, sounds like a rotator cuff. You going to see an ortho and get it checked out?

And it is always so encouraging to see someone who is such an accomplished hunter get so excited harvesting a wonderful animal after all those years! :clap:

You mentioned something about the bear knowing marking your stand tree by pooping at the base of it. We're you just joking or were you being serious ???


Congrats again on a great trophy. I'll be looking forward to reading about your future WI bear hunt.
