The footage of him on the ground with that grizz coming in...I know it wasn’t planned but I’m not sure I could do that A black bear is one thing.
I’d be like “Go ahead and eat, I’ll be over here.”

Re: Tim Wells spears 1st grizzly
I'm assuming most of you have seen him stalk/kill Black Death over in Africa? Or that stupid big water buffalo?
For as many things that he has killed I am still in shock that he didnt die when he knocked the spear off his platform and stuck himself in the leg. The blood spurting out in that video was stupid.

Never been a big fan. He's a heck of an outdoorsman. And one incredible bow shot. Just never liked him showing 100 yard moving shots with his bow. I know he's totally capable, but am afraid too many incompetent shooters will try it also.
That grizz kill took some guts, patience and I know he's got his spears and throwing system down to a science. So I gotta give him a hand!

Wow. Not surprised with him though. I'm pretty sure I saw an old vid of him arrow a grizz in the head. Not 100% sure

I believe that is/was the last scene in his show intro. He’s not the poster child for the everyday bowhunter. I wouldn’t recommend anyone mirror his shot selection or even his equipment setups. That is because he is in the 0.00001% of pure killers on this planet. You could give him a styrofoam cup and he’d knock down a wide range of animals stone cold dead with it. Awesome feat taking down a grizz with a spear.
Teaching is only demonstrating that it is possible.... Learning is making it possible for yourself.

If i could knock down an animal running 100 yds consistently i would be showing everybody... can't blame him if people lacking that kind of skill copy him or try and copy him. His ability and showing it off is what has provided him so many of his opportunities to do what he does for a living. Truly living the dream.
