It's an adult male. Not going to take a guess at weight from those pics. Definite shooter everywhere I hunt.

I am not a good guess at weight but I'd say around 200-250 lbs.

I'm not an expert either.
But if I had money on it, I'd have to add 100 pounds to that guess.
That's a very blocky (Northern Wisconsin?) bear.

Big blocky head and legs look short. I’m guessing well over 300 lbs.

The thing I've noticed with weight estimates is mostly guys will overestimate. My buddy show a sow last fall. Huge bear! I had no idea on weight but it was a decent bear. Guys were saying 300 lbs easy. Bear only weighed about 250 lbs.

Agree. But - to “only” be off 50 lbs on a 250/300 lb bear isn’t that “bad”. They are pretty difficult to field judge weight.

I agree bears are hard to judge. If anything I have a problem with misjudging bears as being too small when I should be shooting. Ask Mike Foss.

I believe my guess of 300 lbs is very conservative. That boar has a big ole’ noggin on him and his belly is close to the ground. He’s a brute no doubt about it.

Only way to know for sure......kill em John and throw him on a scale.

Last one I shot I thought he was upper 300s to low 400s. He was 557 dressed. They are super hard to judge.

Guessing weight is difficult. From the pictures he looks pretty big.

With my comments above, yes it is hard to judge a bear. When it comes down to it, though, there is only one decision to make: shoot or pass. This bear would be getting an arrow!
