I'll be completely honest Dan! I look forward to your videos but I dont have time to watch an hour long video. I miss your 20-30 min episodes. However, to be able to get your perspective for free will always be priceless. I think I can speak for many people that I have alot of videos to catch up on. Simply can't keep up.

Prayers and deepest sympathy’s to Dave’s family and friends.
Dan, keep up the good work and lengthy videos. I like them because you get into detail that the others lack, or don’t even know.
If I had to make a choice of deer or bear, I’d always choose Bear. Definitely my favorite animal to bowhunt but these days and my age it’s getting tougher when not living in a bear friendly hunting state.

Re: Dan vs bear - Minnesota
RIP Dave. I had the opportunity of meeting Dave at one particular time and he sure was a great man. I was even fortunate enough to drag a deer out for him. Id do it 100 times over again.
This bear video was comical to say the least. Gription wires Now thats not something I've ever heard of. And the look on Rick's face over this discussion haha. All of the joking about jinxing and then becomes reality. And then the starter. I understand there was nothing comical about the situation at the time, but now that everybody is out and safe it certainly gave me some chuckles. That is certainly a situation to test your endurance. Glad everything worked out for you guys.

Re: Dan vs bear - Minnesota
Also sorry to hear about Dave, seemed like a good guy.
So the crapper out in the woods, those are OEM equipment in BWCA campsites. Maybe the powers that be out there sprinkle them about willynilly in the SNF.
The key on your spare should open with the ignition key. But the one on mine, the one time I used it, I broke the key because it was sticky. The key repair, from the dealer (on a 2015 F150), was around a $400 fix from the dealer. Which a local locksmith fixed for less than half that.
How do you get these characters to do vids with you, when you spend 1/3 of the vid burning them down for jinxing you? Haha. That's just fun to watch.

Re: Dan vs bear - Minnesota
I had a f150 and had to go through that same scenario. Dang thing was rusted out. Had to use a Chanel locks, flathead, and a dang hammer to get it out. I came to the idea it is more convenient to have the spare in the bed of the truck. I never re-installed the stupid lock thing. Great video, I love that you mentioned how a consistent wind can limit a bait sites exposure. Bears find stuff via their nose. You’re spot on, or that has been my theory for a few years anyways.
Persistence is undefeated.
