Area 24 dropped also, 45 is up a little, but there are 30 more tags overall.

That to me is just unbelievable that's a pretty big area for only 425 tags. What is the dnrs thought process behind it?

Zone 31 does have high success. I believe it’s been 50 percent or better for quite awhile.

We used to have over 2,000 the 1,500,1,000, 900 you get the point. We have the most bears per square mile then anywhere in the state

I just applied and took a preference point again this year, I think next year I'm going to try to pull a tag. Was looking to try to see how many points I have, but can't seem to find this info anywhere.
Anyone no where to look to find how many preference you have?

You have to call the DNR licensing dept, they do not post it online.

What if a person with points doesn't apply for a year or 2 ? Can a person lose their preference points ??

Well that's good to hear. In Wisconsin if you fail to apply within 3 years you lose your savings (preference points).

When the draw results post next Fri just throw your 9 digit MNDNR # or Drivers Lic # in the "Check Draw Results" link and it'll tell you how many points you have or as Bernie said you can call the DNR.
