I love your bear vids Dan. I wonder what your guides thoughts are on why so many zone C baits go dead right before the season?

Last year was a good year for white oaks. So maybe this year will be better for hunting zone C.

Good luck 8-)

So are you planning to take over the baiting right before season? I thought you want the bears to get used to the HUNTERS scent ???

Yes... I would much rather my scent is in there baiting but I have been in there many times hopefully it works out.

I like the fact that Dan the man acknowledged that this zone is extremely difficult,,,,,. Even though years ago , He harvested a 500 pound bear from this zone.

Things have changed. You tried this area several times since then,, and had shooter's on camera during August.....

Yet right before season the bears change their pattern and go nocturnal,,,,.. just like a mature public land buck

. Please show us pictures of your guides past success with other clients in zone c ..

I don't think your lack of success was due to lack of baiting..
