I've used every kind of call at one time or another. Once I got some decent diaphragm calls and learned how to use them well, that's all I need. They really sound good, and hands free is a big deal for me with my run and gun style.

Favorite right now is the wedding gift from my wife. Double sided pot call, glass top with slate under that she had made by a custom call maker. Has our names and wedding date on the glass side. My original plan was to kill one bird with it and put it up, I can't put it up though. Sounds too good. Link to the call maker - http://www.magnoliacalls.com/

Next favorite is another slate made by a Mississippi Call maker. Brown Tie Turkey Calls. Don't believe he sells from a website.

The old Primos Power Crystal still gets some run time.

Running Woodhaven mouth calls when i run a diaphragm.

Have a whole pile of other calls at the house but those are the ones that made the vest this season.

I'm a run and gun public guy. For some reason I never did go the mouth call route. Personal preference I guess.

I also am a run and gun public guy. Hard to beat a good quality box call in my opinion.

Ive got about 150 calls at the house, mostly custom calls. Boxes, trumpets, slates, glass & crystals, aluminums, copper etc., push buttons. I'm happy though with a tube call, box & a load of diaphrams for hunting. Mike

I use some mouth calls and have a few pot calls as well. I'd say I use them about equal time. Looking to add a good box call in the mix as well.

I'm mostly a mouthcall guy these days. I'm currently a big fan of the Millcreek Valley brand of mouth calls. Small company located in rural PA. Give them a shot. They talk straight turkey.

I'm friends with a guy from Woodhaven so he keeps me stocked up with mouth calls, but other than that, I run a David Halloran Twisted Sister glass call, and a Cody Woodsman glass. I carry a few different strikers so that I can get different tones out of the calls.
Anything worth doing, is worth over doing.
